Attica - Mrs. Minnie Alice Hidy, 72, died at 9:20 p.m. Sunday in her home, 112 W. Lithia, after a long illness.  Born in Vermillion County, Illinois she lived in Attica 42 years and was married in 1911 to Edgar Hidy who died in 1954.  The couple operated a florist shop for 19 years. SHe was a member of the Methodist Church Wabash Templke No 439 Pythian Sisters Women of Attica Loyal Order of Moose No 23, women's Loyal Order of Moose No 23, women's auxiliary of VFW Post No 3318 and Business and Professional WOmen's Club. Surviving are a son, Chester at home; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Clark, Attica, Mrs. Betty Brown, Candler, Arix and Mrs. Patricia Sullivan, Boswell and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Berg, Cook, Minn and Mrs. ELizabeth Kinney, Danville, Ill.

Funeral Notices - Hidy, Mrs. Minnie A. - Friends may call at Deutter Funeral Home, Attica after 7 p.m. Tuesday. The body will lie in state one hour before service in Attica Methodist Church at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Ev. Headley Cobb, Hartford City and Dr. Harry Campbell, Attica officiating; burial in Riverside Cemetery. - kbz
